DURGA KUMAR THAPA , PRESIDENT

Born in Udaypur Thoksila VDC, Mr. Thapa is a prominent Entrepreneur, Social and Human Right activist, Environmentalist and also Ex – Mayor. Having completed Master Degree from Tribhuwan University (Economics & Rural Development) he has outstanding records and experiences in different sectors of development and has played a vital role in the local governments as well.

Mr Thapa has accumulated 30 years of experience in the field of social work, development and also the Chairperson of HURENDEC Nepal (A leading NGO for Human rights in eastern part of Nepal) Some of the key roles of Mr Thapa includes Consultation of birth registration programme of UNICEF in Udayapur District, Consultation of periodic planning of Udayapur district, Preparation of strategy plan of NGO Federation, Nepal, Consultation on child protection program of World Vision International and many more.

BHAGAWATI BISTA , VICE PRESIDENT

Bhagawati Bista , citizen of Kathmandu is an active member working and serving voluntarily on different institutions and designations since decade. She worked as Nepali teacher in some of the reputed colleges in Nepal. She has completed her education from Tribhuvan University in M. Phil(Nepali), Master in Nepali and Master in Sociology. She has taken participation on many national and international training and workshops organized by different institutions like Woman Leadership Development (UNIFEM), Karuna Peace building (KCP), Institute for conflict Management peace and development(ICPD) etc.

KAMALA DHAKAL , SECRETARY

Kamala Dhakal is a Nepalese Entrepreneur founder and CEO of Kinnovation Trading, working in import, manufacturing and trade of Green Technologies. She is also the co-founder of Aastha Engineering, an engineering consultancy company established in 2010. She is a graduate from Tribhuvan University in M.Sc Physics. Mrs. Kamala was born and raised in a small rural village of Gulmi district, Lumbini Province. She has represented more than dozens of international forums as the Green Women Entrepreneur in Nepal.

RAJKUMAR RAI , VICE SECRETARY

An experienced development professional with 16+ years of project management, fund mobilization, entrepreneurship development and good governance on different Government and International institutions in Nepal. He is excellent to develop organizational capacity of stakeholders, planning, monitoring & evaluation and maintaining GESI. He has completed Master’s Degree in Sociology and Master’s Degree in Political Science from Tribhuvan University.

He has worked as a vital team member on different national level projects such as Micro Enterprise Development Project (MEDA-TA/UNDP Nepal/MoICS) Bara & Parsa Province -2, Government Support & Market Development Specialist (MEDEP/UNDP Nepal/MoICS) Kathmandu, Enterprise Development officer (MEDEP/UNDP Nepal/MoICS) Dailekh , Surkhet & Sunsari and so on. His expertise on the field is well acknowledged.

KARISHMA DHAKAL , TREASURER

Mrs. Karishma Dhakal was born on Khadgakot, Gulmi District. Being born in one of the rural communities, Mrs Dhakal learnt the difficulties and problems of such communities first hand. After her higher studies, Mrs Dhakal completed her bachelors on Rural Development and is pursuing her masters on same field respectively. She also passed Anami exam conducted by the government. After the massive earthquake hit of 2072 B.S, Mrs. Dhakal has been actively engaged on the reconstruction and development of physical structures, social mobilization and eco-friendly development. She also served as Social Mobilizer on Training Centre Nepal, educating people and giving trainings and seminars. Her practical knowledge and guidelines has helped this organization to set clear goals and vision.

PRAMOD GYAWALI , BOARD MEMBER

Mr. Pramod Gyawali is a Chartered Accountant and is member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India & Nepal (ICAI & ICAN). He holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Tribhuvan University. He is also currently pursuing LLB from Tribhuvan University. He has more than 6 years of experience in conducting internal audit and risk advisory, external statutory audits and compliance reviews. He has a vast experience in the field of Audit, Assurance & Tax Advisory. He also has an extensive experience on Working of trading sector, Manufacturing Sector, NGOs, INGOs, Banks & FI, working on ERP Environment and also compliance of Corporate Laws.

Mr. Gyawali is proprietor of Pramod Gyawali & Associates, Chartered Accountants, a leading Audit Tax and Finance Firm in Nepal. He is also Director of Invoke Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd., a Business & Management Consultants firm located in Kathmandu, Nepal.

SUJAN TRIPATHI , BOARD MEMBER

With M .Sc. in Structural Engineering and Diploma in Civil engineering, Mr. Tripathi had amassed experience as a Lecturer/Mentor in Thammasat University(Thailand) and also worked as an Assistant Professor on Institute of Engineering (TU). He has been a prominent individual mostly teaching structural engineering both within and outside the country. Mr. Tripathi has attended numerous trainings and seminars sharpening his skillset throughout the years.

Awarded with ” Excellent foreign Scholarship(EFS) Award ” for his excellent academic performance, Mr. Tripathi had worked as Executive Board Member and Earthquake expert on different projects. His accomplishments and expertise on different projects has provided our organization with overwhelming outcomes.

DHANANJAY KUMAR KARN , BOARD MEMBER

Mr. Dhananjay Kumar Karn has more than 12 years of small business management experience and a sharp eye for business operations. Mr. Karn has been successful in growing start-up businesses. Mr. Karn started ProjectroniX in 2009 with the goal of giving engineering students all the research and technical materials they needed to turn their product ideas into prototypes.

He graduated in 2012 from Tribhuvan University with a degree in computer engineering. After that, he worked as an independent consultant and honed his knowledge, tools, and technologies used in software development. In 2013, he founded “Zen IT Hub,” an IT company, and has been actively involved in its operations and administration ever since. He joined School Group in 2018 as a country coordinator. School Group is a global nonprofit startup that uses e-learning technology to make quality education available to everyone. He is also the Chairman of the Nepal Chapter. He became a founding member and CTO of Export from Nepal in 2020, “Nepal’s first export-based global e-commerce marketplace for made in Nepal products.” He is a leader, and his participation in other organizations continues to advance his professional development.
